🧭 Step-by-Step: How to Create a Contact
Step 1: Login to Botspace
Login to your Botspace Dashboard using your registered credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to Contacts
Click on Contacts from the left-hand menu
You will land on the All Contacts page where existing contacts are listed
Click the Create contact button available at the top-right corner of the Contacts page
This opens the Create contact dialog box.
Step 3: Enter Contact Details
In the Create Contact dialog, fill in the following fields:
Name
Enter the contact’s name
Phone Number
Enter the phone number along with the country code (for example: +91XXXXXXXXXX)
Labels (Optional)
Select existing labels from the dropdown
Or type a new label name and press Enter to create it
Labels help in segmenting contacts for future broadcasts and automation workflows.
Step 5: Create the Contact
Click on Create
The contact is added instantly to your Contacts list

Broadcast campaigns
Automation triggers
Ongoing conversations
📤 Export Contacts (Optional)
Botspace allows you to export contacts directly from the Contacts screen.
How to Export Contacts:
Navigate to Contacts
Click on the Export button at the top-right
Select Export All Contacts
Click Export
📩 The exported contacts are sent to your registered email address in CSV format.
📤 Import Contacts (Optional)
Botspace allows you to import contacts directly from the Contacts screen.
How to Import Contacts:
Navigate to Contacts
Click on the Import button at the top-right
Upload CSV file
Select the existing contact list to add the contacts to be imported in the list (If required)
Click Import
📩 The confirmation for Import contacts will be sent to your registered email address.
🚨 Important Notes & Limitations
Phone numbers must be valid to send WhatsApp messages
Manual contact creation supports single contact only
Duplicate phone numbers are automatically handled
Labels are optional but recommended for better targeting
