When migrating or re-registering a WhatsApp Business Phone Number you are required to turn off 2FA (Two Step Verification) in Facebook Business Manager
To turn off 2FA follow these steps -
Go to your Facebook Business Manager settings and select the Business Portfolio which has the WhatsApp Business Account for which you are trying to disable 2FA.
Click WhatsApp accounts on the side drawer - select the WhatsApp account which has the Phone Number connected whose 2FA you want to turn off and click on WhatsApp Manager.
In WhatsApp Manager click on Phone numbers and then click on the Settings Icon for the Phone Number whose 2FA you want to turn off.
After you are in the Settings of the Phone Number click on Two-step verification Tab and click on Turn off two-step verification
You will be prompted with a Confirmation dialog - after you click on okay you will receive an e-mail through which 2FA will be turned off
You will receive an e-mail from WhatsApp Support - click on the Link in the e-mail
You will be redirected to a page like this - click on TURN OFF TWO-STEP VERIFICATION button - 2FA will be turned off and you will see a Confirmation dialog stating that.
If you successfully follow these steps you will see the following screen in the Two-step verification tab in your Phone number settings.
