After you signup to BotSpace, you will be redirected to the Start Page - here you will see the option to connect a WhatsApp Number to BotSpace
You can click on Connect, which will redirect you to WhatsApp Onboarding page and do it yourself or you can schedule a 1:1 Onboarding Session with our Success Team who will guide you to connect to BotSpace with zero hassle.
We are going to see the steps on how you can connect a WhatsApp Number yourself.
If you have just signed up, click on the Connect number button - this will take you to the WhatsApp Onboarding page
If you have already connect a Number to BotSpace -
Click on All channels on the App Bar
Click on Add channel on the Select channel dialog
Select the WhatsApp
- this will take you to the WhatsApp Onboarding page
Once you are on the WhatsApp Onboarding page, you will be shown two option
New number
Migrate existing Number
Connect a New Number
Click on New number card
You will be shown a checklist to confirm that you are ready to connect the WhatsApp Number to BotSpace
You will accept that the number you want to connect is not being used on WhatsApp App, WhatsApp Business App or WhatsApp Business API.
You will accept that you are ready to receive OTP that Meta sends during this process.
Once you accept the checklist - click on Connect - this will take you to Meta where you will connect your WhatsApp Business Account to BotSpace.
Once you are redirected to Meta - Sign In with the Facebook Account and click on Continue as (Your Name)
You will be prompted with BotSpace consent screen where it is mentioned which permissions BotSpace will require to connect a number - click on Get Started.
Select the Business Portfolio to you want to create the new WhatsApp Business Account and click on Next.
Select Create a WhatsApp Business account and Create a new WhatsApp Business profile and click on Next.
Enter the details of the new WhatsApp Business Account and click on Next.
Select Add a new number - enter the Phone number you want to connect and select the verification method as Text message.
You will be prompted to enter the OTP on the next step after which Meta will do some verification - click on Finish
You will then be redirected to BotSpace and your WhatsApp Number will be connected!
Migrate an Existing Number
Click on Migrate existing number card
You will be shown a checklist to confirm that you are ready to connect the WhatsApp Number to BotSpace
You will accept that you have turned off 2FA for the WhatsApp Business Account you are trying to migrate to BotSpace.
You will accept that you will create a new WhatsApp Business Account for the number you are trying to migrate
You will accept that you are ready to receive OTP that Meta sends during this process.
Once you accept the checklist - click on Connect - this will take you to Meta where you will connect your WhatsApp Business Account to BotSpace.
After you click on connect you will have to follow the same steps from Connect a new Number section.
